Getting Ready For Farm Market Day

From time to time, we are going to feature a special report on how our local Moncton Farmer's Market Vendors get ready for Saturday's market day.

Here is Nick the Dutch Baker making his Rumball specials.

Nick The Dutch Baker and his family of helpers spend a large part of their week getting ready for the Saturday market.

It starts with a little dough and some creativity. Here's a pictorial of getting "RumBalls" ready to melt in your mouth.

Making the Rumballs -Step 1: Get some dough and make it ready to take on a new life as a sweet delight.

Making the Rumballs -Step 2 Preparation of all the ingedients and creating a sweet delight.

There are hours of preparation invested in creating baked goods that create the moment of great taste and product experience at the Farmer's Market.

Getting the Rumballs ready involves several steps and now they are ready for the next step. The final coating.

Making the Rumballs -Step 3. Getting Ready for the Final Coating- Chococlate Coating is the Final Touch.

Making the Rumballs -Step 4. Dipping in the chocolate sauce. Hmm, Good to the last dip.

Making the Rumballs -Step 5. Loading them in the Dutch Baker Van for Display in this week's Farmers Market.

Once at the market, the Dutch Baker's Rumballs will find a good home as a fresh, tasty Baked Goods delight.

The Final Step Is: You Step Up and Purchase: The baking process is complete and now it is for customers to step up to the Baker's Display rack at the Farmers Market booth to take home one or several of these Chocolate Dipped Goodies for yourself.

Please drop back again to the Moncton Farmer's Market blog. We will be telling our individual vendor stories about how we bring our best to you each week.

You will learn more about how the vendors work and plan each week to provide their very best products and services to you when you attend the Moncton Farmer's Market every Saturday.

Bon appetit.
